Shadow Fiend kills Batrider

The battlefield pulsed with the rhythm of war, the clock ticking past twenty-three minutes. Nevermore, the Shadow Fiend, stalked the edges of the fight, his soul count growing with each fallen foe. Batrider, soaring through the air, thought he was safe, but a dark plan was brewing. Suddenly, a cascade of magic erupted. Dark Willow, the mischievous fae, bound Batrider with her Bedlam, stunning him in place. Puck, the playful faerie dragon, zipped through the air, silencing Batrider with Dream Coil, preventing any escape. Skywrath Mage, the arcane scholar, unleashed his Mystic Flare, a bolt of pure energy that seared through the air, weakening Batrider further. Nevermore, seeing his moment, glided into position. He unleashed his ultimate ability, Requiem of Souls. A torrent of spectral souls burst forth from him, tearing through Batrider with devastating force. The combined assault was too much. Batrider's fiery form flickered and then vanished, his life extinguished by Nevermore's dark power. Killed by Nevermore. Assisted by Dark Willow, Puck, Skywrath Mage.
